Even more from the Fruit Stand

The Fruit Stand Suite has so many possibilities.  Yesterday, I posted a non-fruit card.  Today, we're back to the fruit with a card featuring the Pear stamps.  You also can see two more of the a patterns from the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.  Such a fun collection of designs.  There's not much that's tricky in this card.  The Pear is formed with the two-steps, outline and solid, stamps.  I kept this one pretty simple to draw the eye to those wonderful papers.  Thanks for checking in today.

More from the Fruit Stand Suite

Here's a quick and easy Birthday card using the products in the Fruit Stand Suite.  This uses the outline flower stamps from the Fresh Fruit stamp set.  I've also added a strip of the Designer Series Paper Fruit Stand and some rhinestones to make it sparkle a bit.  The colors are Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder, two of the colors highlighted in the Designer Series Paper pack.  I really love that Stampin' Up! puts a list of the coordinating colors on the packaging for these paper packs.  Takes all the guess work out of matching! Enjoy!

More New Favorites...

To me, nothing means summertime more than fresh fruit.  Picking strawberries in early June is a favorite pastime for me.  We have a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) membership at a local farm and they have a "Pick-your-own" Strawberry field that is great fun.  When I saw the Fruit Stand Suite on page 148-149 in the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! catalog, I immediately put it on the Wish List.  Not only does this suite feature beautiful colors (think Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, the beautiful new Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzaz...), but it features one of the most useful, Summer-themed stamp sets, Fresh Fruit (#141770, p. 149).  This photopolymer set has both Fruit and Flower images as well as useful sentiments for Summer Occasions.  This is my first card with the set and the products from the Suite.  I used the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.  All of the designs in this pack of paper are beautiful.  I can't wait to show you the rest of them.  Thanks for visiting today!  Here's what I used for this card:

Stamps: Fresh Fruit
Ink:  Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder

Fiesta! Llama! What could be better?

One of the things that I think the new Stampin' Up! catalog highlights particularly well is the amazing coordinating products offered.  They do this best in some of the "Suites" of products.  This card is made using products from the Festive Birthday Suite found on p. 10-11.  What a fun combination of products! It includes the Birthday Fiesta stamp set (complete with Llama!) and the Fiesta Time Framelits dies which match the set (go ahead, say it...Bundle!).  There's also a matching Festive Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, as well.  Add some Festive Birthday Designer Series Papers with a pop of bright colors (Emerald Envy, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry) and some new ribbon (here I used the new Mini Pompom Trim in Whisper White (see p. 179) and you've got a lot of party paper-crafting possibilities.  My card is similar to the one on the bottom of page 10.  I used the Stylized Birthday stamp (really, it's becoming a "go-to" item in my collection.)   And I'm really fond of that cute llama!  Thanks for stopping by.

New and Fantastic!

The new Stampin' Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog really lives up to the billing this year.  If you haven't seen it, be sure to check it out through my website link to the right.

In particular, the new In-Colors are really a refreshing addition to an already amazing color palette.  Here they all are in a really quick and easy card that I CASED from page 16.  Clockwise from the top left we have Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, and Flirty Flamingo.  The colors are available in plain card stock, of course, but I've used the Designer Series Paper Stacks here.  The coordination continues with the 3/8" Ruched Ribbon as an embellishment.  I really loved how quickly this card came together.  I liked it so much that I recreated it using one of the new Just for Hosts Stamp Sets, too.  These cards lend themselves well to gifting and classes.  Not only are they quick and easy, but really useful and can be customized with sentiments on the inside of the card.

Now to find a "Thank You" of similar size and I'll have the perfect set of multipurpose cards to share with friends and family.  Enjoy!
