Here's a card using the Sweet Treats cups and the cute stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Something Sweet. I thought this made a fun Easter card, but a Spring card or "Thinking of You" works just as well. Flowers and Chocolate, what could be better. Have a Happy Monday.

Greens in Paradise
Happy Friday to you all. Here's a card reminiscent of Paradise. Literally, because the stamp set is called Paradise. I love these leaf fronds. You see them all over the Home Decor magazines right now. This is my take on a wall of leaf prints. Framed by the Basic Gray cardstock and mounted on Sahara Sand for a card base. Paper piercing adds the extra element in this card. No bling today. Hope you have a great weekend.

Kissing Butterflies
Well, they aren't really kissing. They use the kissing technique! I was reminded of this technique recently, so I thought I'd try it out on some butterflies. To refresh your memory: Kissing is when you ink up a solid stamp and use a second stamp (patterned or not) to either remove some of the ink you put on the original stamp or add another color of ink on top. In this case, I did both. I inked up the Butterfly Accent (first in Orchid Opulence), stamped an un-inked Dot-to-Dot stamp on top of it and used it to create the background. For the Certainly Celery and so Saffron Butterflies, I inked the Accent up again (in those colors, separately) and then inked the Dots in Orchid Opulence and stamped on the stamp before stamping on Whisper White and cutting the butterflies out. It's a fun technique to play with. Hope you enjoy.

A boxful of cheerful flowers...
Lots of people seem to be making this flowerpot pocket card these days. I added my own twist by combining it with the Easel Card Box as a result of a challenge posed by my friend Toni. Thanks, Toni, for spotting this great box pattern. Here's the photo. I think it would be perfect for giving a gift of seeds to someone for spring/summer planting. The box pulls out like a drawer to store the goodies.
Hope this brightens the rainy weather for you. Thanks for visiting today.

A Teapot for Monday
The picture's a bit bright. The sun came out just as I snapped it. But I think you get the idea. Here's another Dream Garden card. I used the Stampin' Up! Sizzix Dies Blossom Party (Original Die) and Birds and Blooms (Sizzlits) for the flowers. The centers are circle punches. I love the whole Moss/Artichoke/Suede/Kraft combination. Calming, in a way.
