A boxful of cheerful flowers...

Lots of people seem to be making this flowerpot pocket card these days.  I added my own twist by combining it with the Easel Card Box as a result of a challenge posed by my friend Toni. Thanks, Toni, for spotting this great box pattern.  Here's the photo.  I think it would be perfect for giving a gift of seeds to someone for spring/summer planting.  The box pulls out like a drawer to store the goodies.
Hope this brightens the rainy weather for you.  Thanks for visiting today.

Vintage Vogue Takes

My Sassy 6 ladies always challenge my thinking.  Thanks, gals!  Last week we gathered with the Vintage Vogue set and various papers/colors and accessories and produced some cards from sketches.  I love doing this because it's a lot of fun to see what people come up with.  This was one of mine.  I stamped a half sheet of Whisper White paper with the flowers and leaves and then cut it down to make two cards.  This one is my own layout, the second is from the sketch/sample we used.  Enjoy them!

Paper: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Old Olive, Whisper White

This is the one I copied from our sample layout.  I used softer flowers and less ribbon (I actually used up a roll!  Woohoo!)  Color scheme is the same.  The bling is the same.  The accessories are slightly different.

Same layout, different take.

Here's the "Thank You" version of the Baby Layout.   This is a very useful layout.  Just pick a letter and go.  (That B could go fro Birthday, as well.) This one uses the new Designer Series Paper Shades of Spring.  The great thing about the designer papers is that you get an automatic color pallet to work with.  This one is Orchid Opulence, So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink.  Enjoy.

Simple Valentine

Here's a really simple Valentine/Love You card.  Color scheme is Pretty In Pink, Rose Red and Very Vanilla.  The flourished die is from the Stampin' Up! Lots of Tags Sizzlit Dies.  I really like that it fits around that wide oval punch so well.  The small heart is punched with the new design punch from Stampin' Up! as well.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Specialty Paper Sending Love.  It's got some great glittered texture on it, which may not come through in the picture.  The stamp is from the Well Scripted set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Happy Wednesday.
