Icy Evening Post

We've been socked with ice today. And a bit of rain, too. I now have some time to post another card. This uses some more new stuff. The stamp is the "Elegant Thank You" stamp. It is sold individually, a bit of a change for Stampin' Up! I really like the size. I also used the new Stampin' Up! exclusive Embosslits die "Sweetest Stem." I ran it through my Cuttlebug using Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink papers and then layered the 2 together. They're kind of fun. That pretty paper is from the new Designer Series paper "Raspberry Tart." It's a very pretty collection. Here's the recipe. Cheers.

Welcome to 2009!

Back to blogging at last. It's been a while, but there's a new catalog, lots of new ideas and lots of fun things to play with. Speaking of "playing," one of my favorite new Stampin' Up! sets is called "Game Night." It's perfect for those avid card-players, board-gamers and party people in your life. Here's the first card I came up with. Sorry the picture's a bit fuzzy, the 3.2 megapixel camera is starting to behave like the dinosaur it is. I'll try for a clearer version. The paper is from the new designer series "Jackpot." It goes with the stamp set which can be found on p. 109 of the Spring-Summer Idea Book and Catalog. Hope you have an enjoyable day.
