More Circles to Enjoy

Here's Circle Circus round two.  The second of these isn't photographing as well as I'd like.  The camera doesn't pick up on the vibrant celery-black combination.  If I solve the problem, I'll update it later today.  Meantime, enjoy what the winter blast has produced.

Card one, my personal favorite of the Circle Circus quartet, is simple black and white.  The flower stamp is embossed in white on the black paper (twice) and in black on the white paper (once).  The sentiment (from the Happy Moments sale-a-bration set, again) is also embossed in white.  Circle punches add some dimension.

Stamps: Circle Circus, Happy Moments (Sale-a-bration)
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: White and Black Embossing powder, 1-3/4 inch, 1-1/4 inch, and 1-inch circle punches, heat tool, White Organza Ribbon, dimensionals

This is the one I'm having photo issues with.  The color scheme is again Celery and Black.  Both of these cards were inspired by pillows again.  The first by one I own, the second by one in Coastal Living, again.  I'll keep trying to get a decent photo of this one because the colors are kind of cool together.  Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Circle Circus, Short and Sweet
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Certainly Celery
Accessoreis: Stampin' Up! Embosslit Beautiful Wings, Big Shot Machine, 1-3/4 inch circle punch, Modern Label punch, Vintage Brads, 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon in Certainly Celery, dimensionals

Mystery Hostess Projects

These are the projects I designed for my Sale-a-bration Mystery Hostess Workshop this weekend.  I'll show close ups, too, so you can see them.  We're playing with lots of new stuff.

"With all my Heart" Treat holder.  This uses the Stampin' Up! Bigz Die "Two Tags" to make the outside holder.  Cut two tags, use sticky strip to attache them together at the bottom fold, and you have a holder.  I got the idea from the Demonstrator portion of the Stampin' Up! website.  The stamp is from With All My Heart (clear mount version).  Who knew the small heart punches out with the small heart from the Heart to Heart punch?  Cool!  Here's what else I used:
Stamps: With All My Heart (clear mount)
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Specialty Designer Series Paper Sending Love
Accessories: Punches Heart to Heart and Full Heart, 5/8-inch Satin Ribbon Pretty in Pink, Stampin' Up Embosslits Die Scalloped Heart of Hearts, Stampin' Up! Bigz Die Two Tags, Big Shot Machine, dimensionals.

Happy Moments 3x3 card:
This card uses the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set Happy Moments.  It's a cute card to go with a gift.
Stamps: Happy Moments (Sale-a-bration set)
Ink: Basic Brown pad, Markers (Realy Red, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede)
Paper: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Blender Pens, Sending Love Epoxy Brads in Real Red, 3/4-inch Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Real Red, dimensionals.

Last One:  I (heart) Hearts Valentine Card
Stampin' Up! will donate $2.00 from the purchase of this set to the Red Cross efforts to help Haiti.  It's a cute set.  Mine is clear mount.  I really like the way it saves space.  I'm still not converting everything I have because I like the way the wood blocks feel.  However, the Stampin' Up! acrylic blocks are really nicely weighted and are a good substitute.
Stamps: I (Heart) Hearts (clear mount), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rose Red, Regal Rose
Paper: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White
Accessories: Corduroy Buttons Pretty In Pink, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Small Heart Punch, dimensionals

Enjoy the rest of your week!  Thanks for visiting.

Icy Evening Post

We've been socked with ice today. And a bit of rain, too. I now have some time to post another card. This uses some more new stuff. The stamp is the "Elegant Thank You" stamp. It is sold individually, a bit of a change for Stampin' Up! I really like the size. I also used the new Stampin' Up! exclusive Embosslits die "Sweetest Stem." I ran it through my Cuttlebug using Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink papers and then layered the 2 together. They're kind of fun. That pretty paper is from the new Designer Series paper "Raspberry Tart." It's a very pretty collection. Here's the recipe. Cheers.

Stamps: Elegant Thank You
Paper: Rose Red, Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper, Pretty In Pink, Kiwi Kiss
Ink: Rose Red
Accessories: Scalloped Square Punch, Embosslits Die Sweetest Stem, Cuttlebug, 1/16" handheld hole punch, Rose Red Brads, Rose Red 1" Double-stitched grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals
