The Last Four

These last four are the cards I came up with using the rest of the 12x12.  The final picture today is the pattern of how I cut the original piece of cardstock and which cards the pieces went to.  I hope you enjoy them.  This first card combineds the blue tones Marina Mist and Not Quite Navy which I think go very well together.  More stamping and punching using Four Frames and Oval All stamp sets.
Stamps: Four Frames, Oval All
Ink: Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy
Paper: Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals.
Accessories: Punches: Small Oval, Large Oval, Designer Label, Satin Ribbon in Marina Mist, Dimensionals

Design Number 12 is very basic.  Ribbon, Pearls and a simple sentiment.
Stamps: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy
Paper: River Rock, Cherry Cobbler, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Pearls, Designer Label Punch, Satin Ribbon Marina Mist, Dimensionals
Lucky Number 13.  I like the panels on this card.  I think it's a different sort of look.  I also found that putting the ribbon horizontally behind the punched label focused the card best.
Stamps: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Punches: Small Oval, Large Oval, Designer Label Punch, Satin Ribbon Marina Mist, Dimensionals

Last, but not least, Design Number 14.  This uses The extra from the 8.5x11 version of the One-Sheet Wonder.  As well as an interesting layout to finish off the cards.  The sentiment is from Trendy Trees stamp set.  I needed something long and narrow.  Not much in the way of accessories accept that Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Everything is adhered flat to the card versus the usual popped up look.
Stamps: Trendy Trees
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Paper: Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Big Shot, Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Vintage Wallpaper

Finally, here is how I cut the piece of Designer Paper.  I put the card numbers where each piece was used in the center.  I hope you've enjoyed the One-sheet Wonder tour.  Have a great day!

Next 4 Designs...

Somehow, I left out design number 3.  Here it is.  Really simple, but clean. I added the Curly Cute sentiment and there it is!

Stamps: Curly Cute
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Adhesive
Skipping ahead again to design number 8!  This one is very clean, again.  I decided that, for dimension, one of the squares should be popped out.  Made all the difference.  The Thank You is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set.
Stamps: Fresh Cuts
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Paper: River Rock, Marina Mist, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Stampin' Dimmensionals, Beautiful Wings Embosslit (the final Butterfly!)
Number 9.  The original One-sheet Wonder design called for 3 small tags hanging from the rectangular paper.  I opted for Flowers instead.  The sentiment is from the Level I hostess set, Because I Care.
Stamps: Because I care, Four Frames
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist
Paper: River Rock, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Designer Label Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Pearls, dimensionals
Design Number 10 is the last of the Original One-Sheet Wonder designs.  This one uses a strip of Vellum stamped with a sentiment and anchored with Antique Brads.  The original called for eyelets, but I felt the brads were a bit more elegant.  Tomorrow, My Own Designs for the remainder of the paper!  Enjoy.
Stamps: Curly Cute, Bella Toile
Ink: Staz On Jet Black, Marina Mist
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Vellum, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Antique Brads, dimmensionals

Four More for Friday

Happy Friday!  Let's keep going on the whole One-Sheet Wonder designs.  This is design #4 from the original One-Sheet Wonder idea (with my own flighty little twist!).  That original idea, published first in a Make-Ten magazine, used an 8.5x11 piece of stamped cardstock.  As I mentioned yesterday, if you use an 12x12 sheet of patterned paper, you can get 14 cards and here are some more.  Again we feature the Four Frames stamp set.  This time, I added a punched border and the pretty butterflies from the Stampin' Up! Embosslit Beautiful Wings.
Stamps: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Markers: Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy stamp pad
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Marina Mist, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals.
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border punch, Designer Label punch, Stampin' Up! Embosslit Beautiful Wings, Big Shot, Jewels Pearls, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Design #5:  This is a really simple design, but the elegance of the paper and the sentiment really make it a quick and easy card.  The stamp set is that wonderful Curly Cute set which could make this any type of card you want from Birthday to Congratulations.
Stamps: Curly Cute
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Nothing except adhesive! Enjoy!

Design #6 is another one of those Quick and easy ones.  In the original design, the element piece was torn, but, of course, I couldn't do that in my quest to use every scrap!  So, again, I added the torn accent piece underneath.  The ribbon (complete with bow!  Aren't you proud of me, Cindy W.?) is that luscious Organza ribbon.  Enjoy!
Stamps: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Marina Mist, Paisley Petals
Accessories: Designer Label punch, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, dimensionals.
Design #7 is not my favorite of the cards I made.  I might re-make this one using Cherry Cobbler as the accent color.  We'll see, though. And, oops!  I succumbed to tearing (shock), so I guess I did waste a bit of a scrap!  I'm ashamed. Here I thought I had done these completely with out being wasteful, but I forgot about the torn card until now.  My apologies. However, you could do it without the tearing if you wanted to avoid hypocrisy. You will note, however, that I'm using all the butterflies. :)  Hope you've enjoyed all the cards!  Have a great weekend.
Stamps: Four Frames, Teen Tiny Wishes
Ink: Marina Mist, Old Olive
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Paisley Petals.

Waste Not!

My mother always quoted this to me when I was a kid (actually, she still does and quotes it to my kids, as well.)  When I saw this particular sheet of Designer Series Paisley Petals paper, I knew I had a mission.  Create a set of cards, one-sheet-wonder style, without wasting a single shred of this paper.  Well, "mission impossible" some might say, but with help from the classic "Make 10" idea from years ago, it actually worked!  The result?  Fourteen very pretty cards using select pieces from the Designer Paper.  I'm pretty happy with the results.  I'll be sharing them over the next few days as my hard-drive space will allow.  I hope you all enjoy the first 2 here.
Stamps:   French Filigree, Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, River Rock
Paper: River Rock, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals
Accessories: Designer Label Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Jewels Pearls, dimensionals

Design number 2.  This is again from the whole Make 10 design idea.  However, I added my own flair to it.  Instead of tearing the Designer Paper (as in the suggested sketch), I chose to add a piece of coordinating Cherry Cobbler (which was torn) behind.  Don't worry, I used the rest of the Cherry Cobbler, too.
