Boo!

Did I scare you? Here's a cute little Halloween pillow box that's really easy. I filled it with some of the Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses. Might make a great gift for some one. The box is the Sizzix Bigz Pillow Box die that is now offered by Stampin' Up! for use with the Big Shot machine. The pumpkin face is a rub-on from the new Chills and Thrills Rub-ons. Tag uses All-Holidays and the cute bat from the up-coming Halloween Frights set that will be available Oct. 1! I sponged the box (probably should've used a bit more ink) to make it have a bit more depth. The holes in the top for the handle were made with the small hole punch on the Crop-a-dile. Enjoy!

Stamps: All Holidays, Halloween Frights
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Rub-ons Chills and Thrills, Natural Hemp Twine, Black 1/4-inch grosgrain, Sizzix Bigz Pillow Box Die, Crop-a-dile, 1/8-inch hole punch

Gift Idea of the Week

Here's an altered clipboard that would make a great gift. Add a matching pen, and/or a colorful notepad and you're all set. The clipboard is an On Board Chipboard piece. Once again I used paper and die-cuts from the Summer Days Simply Scrappin' kit. I also stamped "friend" from the set Friendly Flowers. I added ribbon to the top for some decoration. Have a great Wednesday.

Stamps: Friendly Flowers
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Wild Wasabi textured cardstock and DS paper from the Summer Days kit.
Accessories: Summer Days self-adhesive die cuts, Ribbon scraps to match (Wild Wasabi stitched, Real Red Gingham, Bashful Blue grosgrain)

A gift idea

As May approaches, there are lots of times I need a small gift for someone. There are birthdays, Mother's Day, Teacher Appreciation week, and countless others. Here's a cute Jelly Bean Jar. I bought the jar at Ikea. The star on the jar is a rub-on (yes, they work on glass) and the tag is chipboard (see close-up picture.) I'll try to post one gift idea a week. Here's the recipe:

Stamp set: In the Stars
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Confetti White, Real Red, Designer Series (DS) Paper Summer Picnic
Accessories: Large Star Punch, Small Star Punch, On-Board Simon Upper (chipboard star), Rub-on's Anchored, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Gingham Ribbon, Crop-a-dile to punch that hole in the chipboard
