Raindrops and Roses

It's a rainy morning for us. First one in a long time. Here are some Roses to go along with it. Wild Roses, to be exact. They're retiring this set, so I have to use it. I love this color combination: Apricot and Cameo Coral. My friend Sheri first showed it to me (thanks, Sheri!) It's really stunning in person. The greens are Certainly Celery and Garden Green. This was another sample from my "Thank You" card marathon last week. Hope it brightens your day.

Wild Rose Contest Card

This is the card I entered in the Paper Crafts card making contest (I didn't win) at the Manchester CK Convention. It uses the "faux silk" technique on the main image. No posts next week due to vacation. We won't even have cell phone service! Woo Hoo! A real "eScape," if you will. A "Thank You" for a Friday. Here's a paper-pierced card using the purples. The sentiment is from the new "Fresh Cut" set that is being offered this month as a preview for the 2008-2009 Stampin' Up!
